We are seeking a Senior Equity Research Analyst specializing in biotechnology to join our dynamic investment team.

Position Overview: As a Senior Equity Research Analyst covering the biotechnology sector, you will play a critical role in identifying investment opportunities and providing actionable insights to drive our fund’s performance. You will conduct in-depth research, build financial models, and deliver high-conviction recommendations to portfolio managers. This role requires deep industry expertise, analytical rigor, and the ability to thrive in a high-stakes environment.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough fundamental analysis of biotechnology companies, including financial modeling, valuation, and competitive analysis. – Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, clinical trial outcomes, and technological advancements in the biotech sector. – Develop and present investment theses with actionable buy/sell/hold recommendations to portfolio managers. – Build and maintain relationships with company management teams, industry experts, and other key stakeholders. – Collaborate with other analysts and portfolio managers to integrate biotech insights into broader investment strategies. – Stay ahead of market-moving events, such as FDA approvals, clinical trial data releases, and M&A activity. – Produce detailed research reports, presentations, and updates for internal and external stakeholders. *

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, biology, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, PhD, or CFA) preferred. – 5+ years of equity research experience, with at least 3 years focused on the biotechnology or healthcare sector. – Proven track record of generating successful investment ideas in the biotech space. – Advanced financial modeling skills and proficiency in valuation techniques (DCF, comparables, etc.). – Strong understanding of clinical trial processes, regulatory frameworks (e.g., FDA), and biotech industry dynamics. – Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. – Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely. – Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. – Proficiency in Bloomberg, FactSet, or similar financial research platforms is a plus. ,
